The Seneca

The Seneca is what a bar should be - big, welcoming, and built for hanging out.

  • The Burger: The Seneca Burger Double (Tier 2). Double smashburger, American cheese, fried onions, pickles, and comeback sauce on a Martin’s potato roll. This is a textbook smash burger - meaty, crispy, cheesy, saucy, and layered with flavor. Pickles are thin for a nice snap, while the bun is lightly toasted and buttery. The comeback sauce adds a tangy, chipotle-mayo kick, dotted with visible seeds and chopped peppers for texture.

  • Pro Tip: As suggested on the menu, add an Underberg shot afterward to help settle your stomach.

  • The Occasion & Vibe: Simply put, this is an all-around great spot to hang with friends and family. Plenty of tables, booths, and open floor space surround a huge bar with old-school swivel stools. A pool table in the back comes with wraparound bench seating. Eclectic art and knick-knacks line the walls, and skylights throughout bring in natural light. Huge angled mirrors behind the bar make the space feel even bigger.

  • The Location: Ridgewood, Seneca Avenue & Grove Street.
